报告人简介:姚若飞,华南理工大学副教授。姚若飞博士在西安交通大学获得博士学位,曾在中南大学从事博士后研究(导师是桂长峰教授)。目前主要研究方向是非线性偏微分方程,在CVPDE, Nonlinearity, DCDS等期刊发表SCI论文9篇。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目一项。

报告摘要: This talk is concerned about symmetry properties for positive elliptic solutions with mixed boundary conditions. Using the methods of moving planes and the bootstrapping methods, we obtain a priori information about the sign of some directional derivatives of solution u in some regions. Finally, we prove the symmetry and monotonicity properties. A version of the maximum principle for mixed boundary problem in a narrow domain is also established. This is a joint work with Hongbin Chen, Changfeng Gui and Rui Li.
